No. Yanchep Institute offers a recognition of prior learning (RPL) option.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is defined as an assessment process that involves the appraisal of an individual’s relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal) to determine if learning credits can be awarded. RPL involves evaluating each individual by determining the extent of their previous learning and its equivalent to the learning outcomes of the desired qualification.

The USI is a code made up of 10 numbers and letters which is assigned to individual students and remains with them for life. The USI is used to create a secure online record of your recognised training and qualifications gained in Australia, even from different training organisations. From mid-2016, you will be able to access your online records by logging in onto the USI portal.
